This is integrated course in college algebra and trigonometry designed to provide an adequate background for an intensive study of analytic geometry and calculus. Topics include the system of real numbers; algebraic, exponential logarithmic, and trigonometric functions; complex numbers; theory of equations, and other selected topics. The use of a graphing calculator is required in this course. Prerequisites: Two years of high school algebra and one year of geometry or the satisfactory completion of MAT131. Offered spring day.
