About Your BBA Program
The Johnston School of Business was founded in 1994 to provide a focal point for the Business Program of the College. The school is named in honor of Mr. Daniel Webster Johnston, a highly respected Nashville business person and trustee of Martin Methodist College.
The Martin Methodist College BBA Program offers a major in Business Administration, coordinated by Pat Ford, and is a 121 credit hour program composed of General Education Core courses (49 hours), Common Professional Core (Major) Courses (45 hours), Emphasis Area (Minor) Courses (21-24 hours in Accounting, Management, or MIS), and various electives. Courses are offered at the main campus in Pulaski, Tennessee.
The BBA program offers several areas of emphasis that allow students to focus course studies in a specific area of business. Each emphasis area is directed by a Master/Lead Teacher. Students interested in an emphasis area within the School of Business should consult the appropriate Master/Lead Teacher listed below:
